Sanskrit śloka (BG-11.35): sañjaya uvāca — etac chrutvā vacanam keśavasya kṛtāñjalir vepamānaḥ kirīṭī — namaskṛtvā bhūya evāha kṛṣṇam sa-gadgadam bhīta-bhītaḥ praṇamya
"Sañjaya spoke: Having HEARD Keśava's word — KIRĪṬĪ (Arjuna), with folded-hands, TREMBLING — having BOWED AGAIN, he spoke to Kṛṣṇa with CHOKED-VOICE, DOUBLY-FEARFUL, bowing-forward."
After the Lord's 3-śloka authoritative-self-revelation (BG-11.32 kālo'smi + BG-11.33 uttiṣṭha-yaśo-labhasva + BG-11.34 named-already-killed), Sañjaya now RESUMES his third-person external-narrative-frame to characterize ARJUNA-THE-LISTENER's body-and-voice state before Arjuna's stuti-words begin at BG-11.36. The iconic compounds sa-gadgadam (choked-voice) + bhīta-bhītaḥ (doubly-fearful) mark the affective-overwhelm; kṛtāñjaliḥ + namaskṛtvā bhūyaḥ + praṇamya mark the reverential body-posture.
