Literal translation
Kelī prajñā manāśīm — (when I have) formed prajñā in mind; taī mī dāsa satyatveśīm — then I am dāsa truly; neīmna pāyāmpāśīm — will take to (the) feet; svāmī mūḷa Paṇḍhariye — the svāmī, source of Paṇḍharī. Tōvarī he bharīm pōṭa — until then, this belly-filling; kelā tō mithyā bōbhāṭa — (is) a mithyā-bobbāṭa; nāhī sāmpaḍalī vāṭa — the path is not found; sairāṭa phiraṭasē — (I) wander aimless. Jyāve ādarāñce jiṇe — one should live by ādara; svāmī krpā karī teṇe — the svāmī does krpā by that; pāḷilyā vachane sakhyatvāñcā anubhava — by kept-words, the anubhava of sakhyatva. Ghaḍe taise ghaḍō ātām — let it happen as it will; māyabāpāñcī sattā — māyabāpa's sattā; Tukā mhaṇe chintā — Tukā says: what chintā; kāya pāhe mārgā — I am looking at the mārga.
What it means
A 3-verse resolve-and-trust text by Tukārām.
The verse moves from-resolve (if-I-form-prajñā-in-mind, then-I-am-dāsa-truly) to-confidence (the-svāmī-will-take-me-to-feet) to-acknowledgment (until-then, this-belly-filling is-mithyā; I-wander-sairāṭa) to-method (live-by-ādara, kept-words → sakhyatva-anubhava) to-surrender (let-it-happen-as-it-will, māyabāpa's-sattā; what-chintā? — I-look-at-the-mārga).
For someone today
Tukārām's prajñā-resolve. (When I have) formed prajñā in mind — then I am a dāsa truly. The svāmī, source of Paṇḍharī, will take me to (his) feet. Until then, this belly-filling is a false-cry; the path is not found — (I) wander aimless. One should live by honor — the svāmī does krpā by that; by kept-words — comes the anubhava of friendship. Let it happen as it will — that is māyabāpa's sattā. What worry? — I am looking at the mārga. The verse permits the prajñā-resolve-and-trust posture: formed-mind → true-dāsa-status → svāmī-krpā.
