आतां वंदूं कवेश्वर । शब्दसृष्टीचे ईश्वर । नांतरी हे परमेश्वर । वेदावतारी

In earlier times poetic works were made; only therefore did learning (vyutpatti) come into being. By that, in the panditas, the highest fitness was ingrained.
ऐसे पूर्वीं थोर थोर । जाले कवेश्वर अपार । आतां आहेत पुढें होणार । नमन त्यांसी

परोपकाराकारणें । नाना निश्चय अनुवादणें ॥ सेखीं बोलीले पूर्णपणें । संशयातीत
paropakārākāraṇem | nānā niścaya anuvādaṇem || sekhīm bolīle pūrṇapaṇem | samśayātīta
For the sake of benefit to others (paropakāra), many conclusions have been expounded; and at last they spoke in fullness, beyond doubt (samśaya-atīta).

कीं हे सुखाचीं तारुवें लोटलीं । आक्षै आनंदे उतटलीं । विश्वजनास उपेगा आलीं । नाना प्रयोगाकारणे
kīm he sukhācīm tāruvem loṭalīm | ākṣai ānamde utaṭalīm | viśvajanāsa upegā ālīm | nānā prayogākāraṇe
Or boats of joy that have set sail; poured with undying bliss (akṣaya ānanda); come to the use of the world's people for many applications (prayoga).
