आतां वंदूं श्रोते जन । भक्त ज्ञानी संत सज्जन । विरक्त योगी गुणसंपन्न । सत्यवादी
ātām vamdūm śrote jana | bhakta jñānī samta sajjana | virakta yogī guṇasampanna | satyavādī
Now I shall worship the listeners (śrotṛ-jana) — devotees, knowers, saints, noble ones; the dispassionate, yogis, those endowed with virtues, the truth-speaking.
येक सत्वाचे सागर । येक बुद्धीचे आगर । येक श्रोते वैरागर । नाना शब्दरत्नांचे

Nothing has remained outside what their sight has passed over; every object and category has been marked by their mind.

jem jem kāmhīm āṭhavāvem | tem tem tayāmsa pūrvīca ṭhāvem | tethem kāye anuvādāvem | jñātepaṇemkarūnī

āpule śaktinusāra | bhāvem pujāvā parameśvara | paramtu pujūm naye hā vicāra | koṭhemci nāhīm

samarthācā putra mūrkha jagīm | parī sāmarthya ase tyācā āmgīm | tumhām samtāmcā salagī | mhaṇauni karitom
A mighty father may have a foolish son in the world; yet the [mighty] power is in his limbs. With you, O saints, I take this liberty on that account.
व्याघ्र सिंह भयानक । देखोनि भयाचकित लोक । परी त्यांचीं पिलीं निःशंक । तयांपुढे खेळती
vyāghra simha bhayānaka | dekhoni bhayācakita loka | parī tyāmcīm pilīm niḥśamka | tayāmpuḍhe kheḷatī
Seeing the tiger and lion, terrible beings, people are seized with fear; but their own cubs play fearlessly before them.
तैसा मी संतांचा अंकित । तुम्हां संतांपासीं बोलत । तरी माझी चिंता तुमचे चित्त । वाहेलच कीं
taisā mī samtāmcā amkita | tumhām samtāmpāsīm bolata | tarī mājhī cimtā tumace citta | vāhelaca kīm
So I, the marked-one (ankita) of the saints, speak before you saints; my concern (cintā) your heart will surely bear.
आपलेंची बोले वाउगें । त्याची संपादणी करणें लागे । परंतु काहीं सांगणें नलगे । न्यून तें पूर्ण करावें
āpalemcī bole vāugem | tyācī sampādaṇī karaṇem lāge | paramtu kāhīm sāmgaṇem nalage | nyūna tem pūrṇa karāvem
When one speaks awkwardly of one's own [matter], someone must make it fit (sampādaṇī); but I need say nothing — whatever is lacking, you will yourselves complete.
हें तों प्रीतीचें लक्षण । स्वभावेंची करी मन । तैसे तुम्ही संतसज्जन । मायेबाप विश्वाचे
hem tom prītīcem lakṣaṇa | svabhāvemcī karī mana | taise tumhī samtasajjana | māyebāpa viśvāce
This is the mark of affection (prīti); the mind does it spontaneously; such are you, O saint-noble ones — mother-and-father (māye-bāpa) of the world.
माझा आशय जाणोनी जीवें । आतां उचित तें करावें । पुढें कथेसि अवधान द्यावें । म्हणे दासानुदास
mājhā āśaya jāṇonī jīvem | ātām ucita tem karāvem | puḍhem kathesi avadhāna dyāvem | mhaṇe dāsānudāsa
