Tukārām's surrender-text. Do not nurse worry — any worry about me — now. The one who made this worldly life will be the one to sort it out; he is the good one. What is in my own wish? What is going to happen is already fixed in one place. From joy and sorrow, Tukā says, I stand apart. The verse allows this stance of surrender: the Lord handles worldly affairs, and I remain separate from both joy and sorrow.
The verse
Literal translation
Na manāvī chintā — do not nurse chintā; kāmhī mājheviśīm ātām — any (worry) about me now. Jyāṇe laukika hā kelā — the one who made this laukika; tō he nivāritā bhalā — he is the one to clear-(it), the good-one. Mājhe ichchhe kāya — what's in my ichchhā; hōṇāra te eka ṭhāya — what's going-to-happen is in one place. Sukhā āṇi duḥkhā — from sukha and duḥkha; mhaṇe vegaḷā mī Tukā — Tukā says: I am separate.
What it means
A short 3-verse surrender-text by Tukārām.
The argument: Don't-worry-about-me; the-one-who-made-the-laukika will-clear-it; what's-to-happen is-in-one-place (fixed); I-am-separate-from-sukha-and-duḥkha.
Compare-Tukārām's 2867 (ṭhevilē-Anantē equanimity), 3046 (ayāchita-vrtti, deva-bhāra).
