मुख्य आधीं विषयत्याग । विधिभाग पाळणें ॥१॥ मन पावे समाधान । हें चि दान देवाचें ॥ध्रु.॥ उदासीन वृत्ति देहीं । चाड नाहीं पाळणें ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे नाहीं भय । सम सोय विषमाची ॥३॥

Mukhya ādhīm viṣaya-tyāgaforemost-first viṣaya-tyāga; vidhi-bhāga pāḷaṇē(then the) vidhi-bhāga is to be pāḷaṇē. Mana pāve samādhānamana attains samādhāna; he chi dāna Devāñcethis is the dāna of Deva. Udāsīna vrtti dehīmudāsīna vrtti in the deha; chāḍa nāhī pāḷaṇēno chāḍa for pāḷaṇē. Tukā mhaṇe nāhī bhayaTukā says: no bhaya; sama sōya viṣamāñcīsama-sōya of viṣamas.
