The verse
कासया लागला यासी चौघाचार । मुळींचा वेव्हार निवडिला ॥१॥
ग्वाही बहुतांची घालूनियां वरि । महजर करीं आहे माझ्या ॥ध्रु.॥
तुम्हां वेगळा लागें आपल्या च ठायीं । होतें करुनि तें ही माझें माझें ॥२॥
भांडण सेवटीं जालें एकवट । आतां कटकट करूं नये ॥३॥
ठेविला ठेवा तो आला माझ्या हाता । आतां नाहीं सत्ता तुज देवा ॥४॥
तुका म्हणे वांयांविण खटपटा । राहिलों मी वांटा घेऊनियां ॥५॥
Literal translation
Kāsayā lāgalā yāsī chaughāchāra — muḷīmchā veuhāra nivaḍilā — why this bickering — the transaction was decided at the root. Gvāhī bahutāmchī ghālūniyām vari — mahajara karīm āhe mājhyā — with many witnesses above — the deed is in my hand. Tumhām vegaḷā lāge āpalyā cha ṭhāyīm — hote karuni te hī mājhe mājhe — even separate from you in my own place — what was done is mine-mine. Bhāmḍaṇa sevaṭīm jāle ekavaṭa — ātām kaṭakaṭa karūm naye — the quarrel ended becoming one — don't make katakata now. Ṭhevilā ṭhevā to ālā mājhyā hātā — ātām nāhīm sattā tuja devā — the deposit has come to my hand — now no sattā of yours, Deva. Tukā mhaṇe vāmyāvīṇa khaṭapaṭā — rāhilōm mī vāmṭā gheūniyām — Tukā says: enough vain khaṭapaṭā — I stay having taken my share.
