ब्रह्म म्हणिजे निराकार । गगनासारिखा विचार । विकार नाहीं निर्विकार । तेंचि ब्रह्म

The knowing-one should not do thus; the sāra alone should be sought. / The asāra known should be abandoned — like vomit.
तें वमक करी प्राशन । तरी तें स्वानाचें लक्शण । तेथें सुचिस्मंत ब्राह्मण । काय करी
tem vamaka karī prāśana | tarī tem svānācem lakśaṇa | tethem sucismamta brāhmaṇa | kāya karī
He who drinks vomit — that is the mark of a dog. / There a pure Brahmin — what does he do?

yeka divyānnem bhakśitī | yeka viṣṭhā sāvaḍitī | āpulyā vaḍilāmcā ghetī | sābhimāna
Some consume divine food; some smell excreta; / they take the pride — of their elders.
असो विवेकेविण । बोलणें तितुका सीण । कोणीयेकें श्रवण मनन । केलेंचि करावें
aso vivekeviṇa | bolaṇem titukā sīṇa | koṇīyekem śravaṇa manana | kelemci karāvem
So let it be — without vivek, all speech is exhaustion. / Someone should — śravaṇa-manana — do what has been done.
