He who himself having learned teaches — attains the highest rank. / He untangles entangled people — by the power of vivek.

He is in all places; on looking, nowhere; / like the Antarātmā — present in every place, yet hidden.
त्यावेगळें कांहींच नसे । पाहों जातां तो न दिसे । न दिसोन वर्तवीतसे । प्राणीमात्रांसी
tyāvegaḷem kāmhīmca nase | pāhom jātām to na dise | na disona vartavītase | prāṇīmātrāmsī
Apart from Him, nothing is; on looking, he does not appear. / Not appearing, yet operating — every creature.
तैसाच हाहि नानापरी । बहुत जनास शाहाणे करी । नाना विद्या त्या विवरी । स्थूळ सूक्ष्मा
taisāca hāhi nānāparī | bahuta janāsa śāhāṇe karī | nānā vidyā tyā vivarī | sthūḷa sūkṣmā
Likewise this one also in many ways — makes many people wise. / Various vidyās he expounds — sthūla-sūkṣma.
आपणाकरितां शाहाणे होती । ते सहजचि सोये धरिती । जाणतेपणाची महंती । ऐसी असे
āpaṇākaritām śāhāṇe hotī | te sahajaci soye dharitī | jāṇatepaṇācī mahamtī | aisī ase
Through him people become wise; they spontaneously hold the [right] way. / The mahant-hood of knowing-ness — is such.
राखों जाणें नीतिन्याय । न करी न करवी अन्याये । कठीण प्रसंगीं उपाये । करूं जाणे
rākhom jāṇem nītinyāya | na karī na karavī anyāye | kaṭhīṇa prasamgīm upāye | karūm jāṇe
He knows to preserve nīti-nyāya; does not do, does not cause to do — injustice. / In hard occasions — he knows remedies.
ऐसा पुरुष धारणेचा । तोचि आधार बहुतांचा । दास म्हणे रघुनाथाचा । गुण घ्यावा
aisā puruṣa dhāraṇecā | toci ādhāra bahutāmcā | dāsa mhaṇe raghunāthācā | guṇa ghyāvā
Such a steadfast puruṣa — he alone is the support of many. / Das says: 'take the guṇa — of Raghunātha.'
