आतां वंदूं सकळकर्ता । समस्त देवांचा जो भर्ता ।
त्याचे भजनीं प्रवर्ता । कोणीतरी
ātām vamdūm sakaḷakartā | samasta devāmcā jo bhartā |
tyāce bhajanīm pravartā | koṇītarī
Now let us salute the all-doer, who is the nourisher of all devas. / Someone, engage in his bhajana.
तेणेंविण कार्य न चले । पडिलें पर्ण तेंहि न हाले ।
अवघें त्रैलोक्येचि चाले । जयाचेनी
teṇemviṇa kārya na cale | paḍilem parṇa temhi na hāle |
avaghem trailokyeci cāle | jayācenī
Without him, no task proceeds; a fallen leaf does not move. / The three worlds proceed — by whose [power].
तो अंतरात्मा सकळांचा । देवदानवमानवांचा ।
चत्वारखाणीचत्वारवाणीचा । प्रवर्तकु
to amtarātmā sakaḷāmcā | devadānavamānavāmcā |
catvārakhāṇīcatvāravāṇīcā | pravartaku
He is the Antarātmā of all — devas, dānavas, manavas; / of the four wombs, four speeches — the operator.
तो येकलाचि सकळां घटीं । करी भिन्नभिन्ना राहाटी ।
सकळ सृष्टीची गोष्टी । किती म्हणोन सांगावी
to yekalāci sakaḷām ghaṭīm | karī bhinnabhinnā rāhāṭī |
sakaḷa sṛṣṭīcī goṣṭī | kitī mhaṇona sāmgāvī
He alone in every vessel — makes different functioning. / The matter of all sṛṣṭi — how much to tell?
ऐसा जो गुप्तेश्वर । त्यास म्हणावें ईश्वर ।
सकळ ऐश्वर्य थोर थोर । जयाचेनि भोगिती
aisā jo gupteśvara | tyāsa mhaṇāvem īśvara |
sakaḷa aiśvarya thora thora | jayāceni bhogitī
Such a gupta-īśvara — he is called Īśvara. / All great ownerships — are enjoyed by his [grace].
ऐसा जेणें वोळखिला । तो विश्वंभरचि जाला ।
समाधी सहजस्थितीला । कोण पुसे
aisā jeṇem voḷakhilā | to viśvambharaci jālā |
samādhī sahajasthitīlā | koṇa puse
He who recognizes such — he becomes Viśvambhara himself. / Who asks about samādhi, sahaja-sthiti?
अवघें त्रैलोक्य विवरावें । तेव्हां वर्म पडेल ठावें ।
आवचटें घबाड सिणावें । नलगेचि कांहीं
avaghem trailokya vivarāvem | tevhām varma paḍela ṭhāvem |
āvacaṭem ghabāḍa siṇāvem | nalageci kāmhīm
The three worlds should be examined — then the secret will fall into place. / For chance-booty, labour — is not needed at all.
पाहातां ऐसा कोण आहे । जो अंतरात्मा विवरोन पाहे ।
अल्प स्वल्प कळोन राहे । समाधानें
pāhātām aisā koṇa āhe | jo amtarātmā vivarona pāhe |
alpa svalpa kaḷona rāhe | samādhānem
Look, who is such — who examining, sees the Antarātmā? / Knowing little, he remains — in samādhāna.
आरे हें पाहिलेंच पाहावें । विवरलेंचि मागुतें विवरावें ।
वाचिलेंचि वाचावें । पुन्हापुन्हा
āre hem pāhilemca pāhāvem | vivaralemci māgutem vivarāvem |
vācilemci vācāvem | punhāpunhā
O — what has been seen, should be seen [again]; what has been examined, should be examined again; / what has been read, should be read — again and again.
अंतरात्मा केवढा कैसा । पाहाणाराची कोण दशा ।
देखिल्या ऐकिल्या ऐसा । विवेक सांगे
amtarātmā kevaḍhā kaisā | pāhāṇārācī koṇa daśā |
dekhilyā aikilyā aisā | viveka sāmge
The Antarātmā, how big, how [much]? The state of the seer — what? / As seen and heard — vivek tells.
उदंड ऐकिलें देखिलें । अंतरात्म्यास नवचे पुरविलें ।
प्राणी देहधारी बाउलें । काय जाणे
udamḍa aikilem dekhilem | amtarātmyāsa navace puravilem |
prāṇī dehadhārī bāulem | kāya jāṇe
Much has been heard and seen; yet the Antarātmā cannot be fulfilled. / The creature, body-bearer puppet — what does he know?
पूर्णास अपूर्ण पुरेना । कां जें अखंड विवरेना ।
विवरतां विवरतां उरेना । देवावेगळा
pūrṇāsa apūrṇa purenā | kām jem akhamḍa vivarenā |
vivaratām vivaratām urenā | devāvegaḷā
The complete one does not fulfill the incomplete; because it is not endlessly examined. / Examining, examining, nothing remains — apart from Deva.
विभक्तपणें नसावें । तरीच भक्त म्हणवावें ।
नाहींतरी वेर्थचि सिणावें । खटाटोपें
vibhaktapaṇem nasāvem | tarīca bhakta mhaṇavāvem |
nāhīmtarī verthaci siṇāvem | khaṭāṭopem
Not-divided one should be — only then is one called bhakta. / Otherwise, vain exhaustion — by fussing.
उगाच घर पाहोन गेला । घरधनी नाहीं वोळखिला ।
राज्यामधूनचि आला । परी राजा नेणे
ugāca ghara pāhona gelā | gharadhanī nāhīm voḷakhilā |
rājyāmadhūnaci ālā | parī rājā neṇe
He merely went, saw the house — did not recognize the house-owner; / he came from within the kingdom — but does not know the king.
देहसंगें विषये भोगिले । देहसंगें प्राणी मिरवलें ।
देहधर्त्यास चुकलें । नवल मोठें
dehasamgem viṣaye bhogile | dehasamgem prāṇī miravalem |
dehadhartyāsa cukalem | navala moṭhem
By body-association, sense-objects were enjoyed; by body-association, the creature paraded; / he missed the body-supporter — great wonder.
ऐसे लोक अविवेकी । आणि म्हणती आम्ही विवेकी ।
बरें ज्याची जैसी टाकी । तैसें करावें
aise loka avivekī | āṇi mhaṇatī āmhī vivekī |
barem jyācī jaisī ṭākī | taisem karāvem
Such avivekī people — and they say 'we are vivekī.' / Well, as someone's tools are — so must be done.
मूर्ख अंतर राखों नेणे । म्हणौन असावें शाहाणे ।
ते शाहाणेहि दैन्यवाणे । होऊन गेले
mūrkha amtara rākhom neṇe | mhaṇauna asāvem śāhāṇe |
te śāhāṇehi dainyavāṇe | hoūna gele
The fool does not know to preserve the interior; therefore one should be wise. / Those wise ones too — became pitiable and gone.
अंतरीं ठेवणें चुकलें । दारोदारीं धुंडूं लागलें ।
तैसें अज्ञानास जालें । देव न कळे
amtarīm ṭhevaṇem cukalem | dārodārīm dhumḍūm lāgalem |
taisem ajñānāsa jālem | deva na kaḷe
Missing the deposit within, began to search door to door. / So it happened to the ajñāna — Deva is not known.
या देवाचें ध्यान करी । ऐसा कोण सृष्टीवरी ।
वृत्ती येकदेंसी तर्तरी । पवाडेल कोठें
yā devācem dhyāna karī | aisā koṇa sṛṣṭīvarī |
vṛttī yekademsī tartarī | pavāḍela koṭhem
Who does the dhyāna of this Deva? — who on earth? / The vṛtti pressing in one region — where will it spread?
ब्रह्मांडीं दाटले प्राणी । बहुरूपें बहुवाणी ।
भूगर्भीं आणि पाषाणीं । कितीयेक
brahmāmḍīm dāṭale prāṇī | bahurūpem bahuvāṇī |
bhūgarbhīm āṇi pāṣāṇīm | kitīyeka
The brahmāṇḍa is packed with creatures — many forms, many speeches; / in the earth's womb, in stones — how many?
इतुके ठाईं पुरवला । अनेकीं येकचि वर्तला ।
गुप्त आणि प्रगटला । कितीयेक
ituke ṭhāīm puravalā | anekīm yekaci vartalā |
gupta āṇi pragaṭalā | kitīyeka
So many places he has fulfilled; among the many, the one operated; / hidden and manifest — how many.
चंचळें न होईजे निश्चळ । प्रचित जाणावी केवळ ।
चंचळ तें नव्हे निश्चळ । परब्रह्म तें
camcaḷem na hoīje niścaḷa | pracita jāṇāvī kevaḷa |
camcaḷa tem navhe niścaḷa | parabrahma tem
The cañcala does not become niścala; pratīti should be known purely. / The cañcala is not niścala; that [alone] is para-brahma.
तत्वें तत्व जेव्हां उडे । तेव्हां देहबुद्धि झडे ।
निर्मळ निश्चळ चहुंकडे । निरंजन
tatvem tatva jevhām uḍe | tevhām dehabuddhi jhaḍe |
nirmaḷa niścaḷa cahumkaḍe | niramjana
When tattva falls away by tattva, then deha-buddhi falls. / Nirmala, niścala on all sides — nirañjana.
आपण कोण कोठें कैंचा । ऐसा मार्ग विवेकचा ।
प्राणी जो स्वयें काचा । त्यास हें कळेना
āpaṇa koṇa koṭhem kaimcā | aisā mārga vivekacā |
prāṇī jo svayem kācā | tyāsa hem kaḷenā
'Who am I, where, whence?' — such is the path of vivek. / A creature who is himself raw — does not know this.
भल्यानें विवेक धरावा । दुस्तर संसार तरावा ।
अवघा वंशचि उधरावा । हरिभक्ती करूनी
bhalyānem viveka dharāvā | dustara samsāra tarāvā |
avaghā vamśaci udharāvā | haribhaktī karūnī
The good should hold vivek; cross the hard samsāra; / uplift the entire lineage — by Hari-bhakti.
