The verse
शोधिसील मूळें । त्याचें करीसी वाटोळें ॥१॥ ऐसे संतांचे बोभाट । तुझे बहु जाले तट ॥ध्रु.॥ लौकिका बाहेरी । घाली रोंखीं जया धरी ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे गुण । तुझा लागलिया शून्य ॥३॥
Literal translation
English: If you search the mūḷa — you'll make vāṭōḷa. Such are the saints' bobhāṭa — your many taṭa formed. Outside the laukika — places (you) in rōkhī, whoever is dharī. Tuka says: your guṇa — falling into śūnya.

What it means
A short root-searching-warning abhang. Three claims:

शोधिसील मूळें — त्याचें करीसी वाटोळें — if you search roots, you'll make a round-of-it. The opening-warning. Searching the roots (= attempting tarka-investigation, searching for the metaphysical-source, demanding-explanation) — will lead you in circles (vāṭōḷa — round-trip, going-round-without-arriving). The mūḷa is not accessible by searching.

ऐसे संतांचे बोभाट — तुझे बहु जाले तट — such are the saints' shouts — your many fences formed. The recognition-of-saints' warnings. Saints have bobhāṭa (shouted) — you have taṭa (fences / banks / boundaries) — many of them — formed. The boundary-formations are themselves the symptom of the search.

लौकिका बाहेरी — घाली रोंखीं जया धरी — outside the laukika — places in rōkhī, whoever is dharī. The saint's orientation. The saint places (the held-one) in rōkhī (a focused-attention / a rebuke / a marking) — outside the laukika (the public-frame). Whoever is held by the saint is placed-outside-the-laukika. (Rōkhī — a direct-address, a marking-out, a focused-pointing*.)

तुका म्हणे गुण — तुझा लागलिया शून्य — your guṇa — falling-into-śūnya. The closing-claim. Your guṇa (qualities) — fall into śūnya (zero / void). (Reading: if you search the roots, the qualities you have collapse into śūnya; or: the goal is the śūnya-fall of your guṇa — i.e., the dissolving of guṇa-attached-self into śūnya-state.) Searching the roots leads to vāṭōḷa. Don't demand-investigation of the source; the search produces circles, not arrival. (Compare 246's don't squeeze the flower to test fragrance; 308's paṣāṇḍiyā by-mati cannot be argued out*.)

Saints have shouted; your fences are the symptom. Samtāñce bobhāṭa — bahu jālē taṭa. The boundary-formations (the various fences you have erected) are themselves the symptom of the wrong-search-mode. Listen to the saints' shouts; recognize the fences as your-own constructions.

The saint places you outside the laukika in rōkhī. Laukikā bāhērī — ghālī rōkhī. The real-saint takes you outside the laukika (the public-frame) and places you in rōkhī (focused-attention). Don't expect laukika-affirmation from the real-saint.

Your guṇa falls-into-śūnya. This is not annihilation in a negative-sense; it is the dissolving of guṇa-attached-self into the śūnya-state — the bhakti-realization-state. (Compare 295 bhakta-ontology — three-guṇa-binding ends.)
For today: don't search the roots by tarka; recognize the fences you've constructed; let the saint take you outside-the-laukika; let the guṇa-attached-self dissolve into śūnya.
This abhang is important for the don't-investigate-the-mūḷa register: the roots are not accessible by searching; saints have warned; the laukika-fence-formation is symptom; the goal is guṇa-dissolution.
