Literal translation
English: Jīve-sāṭīm yatna-bhāva — that nāva is bāḷakaṭa. Going to the other shore — no samdeha — bhava-nadī. Of viśvāsa — blessed jāti — there vasti of deva. Tuka says: of the bhōḷiyām — deva is sācā ankita.

जीवेंसाटीं यत्नभाव — त्याची नाव बळकट — jīve-sāṭīm yatna-bhāva — that nāva is bāḷakaṭa. The opening-claim: the yatna-bhāva (effort-stance) staked-with-the-life — that one's nāva (boat) is bāḷakaṭa (firm / strong). Life-staked-effort gives a strong-boat.

पैल तीरा जातां कांहीं — संदेह नाहीं भवनदी — going to the other shore — no samdeha — bhava-nadī. The crossing-claim: going to the paila-tīra (the other shore); no samdeha (doubt) at the bhava-nadī (river-of-becoming). Doubt-free crossing.
