Literal translation
English: Darśana — āsa. Now — not — sāhē — udāsa. Jīva — come — pāyāmpāśīm. Here — kalivara. Nothing — nāṭhavē. Ṭhāya — sat — doesn't-get-up. Tuka says: jīva — still — Tuka — ṭhakāvalā — ṭhāyī.

What it means
A longing-for-darśana-despondence-not-borne-jīva-come-to-feet-side-here-with-corpse-body-nothing-recalled-sat-doesn't-get-up-Tuka-stunned-in-place-with-jīva-still-there abhang. Viraha-stupefaction register. Three claims:
-
Jīva-at-feet-and-corpse-body-here-claim. The āsa for darśana; now, the udāsa (despondent-state, the udāsa of viraha) is not sāhē (borne); the jīva has come to the pāyām-pāśīm (right-near-the-feet); here (it) is — with the kalivara (the body-as-corpse). Jīva-at-feet; corpse-body-here. (Vivid bilocation: the jīva has flown-to-the-feet, while the kalivara (corpse-body) remains-here. The body without-jīva is described as corpse* — the viraha is so-extreme that the body-feels-like-a-corpse.)
-
Nothing-recalled-sat-doesn't-get-up-claim. Nothing is nāṭhavē (recalled, remembered); sat-in-place (ṭhāyī baisalē), it-*nuṭhavē (doesn't-get-up). Sat-frozen-nothing-recalled*. (Stupefaction: the body is in viraha-stupor — frozen-in-place, recalling-nothing.)
-
Tuka-stunned-in-place-with-jīva-still-there-claim. Look — even though the jīva is still-there; Tuka was ṭhakāvalā (stunned, frozen-still, fooled) in ṭhāyī (place). Jīva-still-there-yet-stunned-in-place. (Closing-paradox: the jīva is still in the body — yet Tuka is ṭhakāvalā (frozen-still, like-a-fool, like-a-stone) — the body is bhōktṛhīna* even with-jīva-present. The viraha-stupor is total.)

For someone today
This abhang names the viraha-stupefaction register:
-
Longing for darśana; udāsa not borne; jīva at feet-side, here with the corpse-body. Bilocation.
-
Nothing recalled; sat-in-place, doesn't get-up. Stupor.
-
Jīva still there, Tuka stunned in-place. Stunned-in-place.
For today: the āsa for darśana — the udāsa is not-borne anymore; the jīva has come to the *pāyām-pāśīm; here (we) are, with the kalivara; nothing is recalled; sat-in-place doesn't get-up; even with the jīva present, Tuka was ṭhakāvalā in ṭhāyī*.
This abhang is Tukaram's viraha-stupefaction-with-jīva-flown-to-feet register — one of the most-extreme viraha-state abhangs. Compare 0846 tender-mother-running-petition (Tuka's mudra); same viyōga-state but here organized around bilocation and stunned-in-place. The Tukā ṭhakāvalā ṭhāyī (Tuka stunned-in-place) is the precise viraha-stupor closing*.
Bilocation.
-
Stupor.
-
Stunned-in-place.
Tuka ṭhakāvalā ṭhāyī.
Tukaram च-viraha-stupefaction-with-jīva-flown-to-feet-register — Most-extreme viraha-state abhangs पैकी एक. 0846 tender-mother-running-petition (Tuka mudra) compare; तीच viyōga-state पण इथे bilocation आणि stunned-in-place च्या मार्गाने. Tukā ṭhakāvalā ṭhāyī precise viraha-stupor closing.
Where this applies
- Bilocation.* Jīva-at-feet, body-here.
