Abhanga 2500
For today: you know our garbha-vāsa ; separating-and-attaching is the Lord's kavatuka-game .
The verse
Literal translation
You know our garbha-vāsa — strong dōṣas made the bhoga. What to say of this miracle — by mainda-paṇa, bhāva of-delusion. Separating one, attaching another — to see the kavatuka, Dēvā. Tuka says: who has lit it — by that one's revelation, won't it become clear.
What it means
THE YOU-KNOW-OUR-GARBHA-VĀSA + KAVATUKA-OF-LORD'S-PLAY ABHANG.
The complaint: āmuchē ṭhāukē tumhām garbha-vāsa — baḷivanta dōṣa kēlē bhōga — you know our garbha-vāsa — strong dōṣas made the bhoga. You-know our-fate-of-rebirth; strong-dōṣas have-caused-the-bhoga.
The Lord-plays-game: ēkā paḷavūni ēkā pāṭhī lāvā — kavatuka Dēvā pāhāvayā — separating one, attaching another — to see the kavatuka (delight, sport), Dēvā. The Lord-plays-musical-chairs with-bhaktas — separating-and-attaching for-his-own-amusement.
MILESTONE NOTE: This is the 2500-numbered abhang in the corpus.

For someone today
For today: you know our garbha-vāsa; separating-and-attaching is the Lord's kavatuka-game.
Where this applies
- When you feel stuck in a cycle of hardship that seems to trace back to your own past mistakes
- When something you loved is suddenly taken away while something new is unexpectedly placed in your path
- When life's changes feel arbitrary or even cruel, and you struggle to make sense of why they are happening
- When you choose to trust that clarity will eventually come instead of demanding to understand everything right now
