For those devoted to God, the deepest truths are close and simple, and steady, humble effort brings lasting peace of mind.
The verse
हरिच्या दासां सोपें वर्म । सर्व धर्म पाउलें ॥१॥
कडिये देव बाहेर खांदी । वैष्णव मांदी क्रीडेसी ॥ध्रु.॥
सरती येणें आटाआटी । नाहीं तुटी लाभाची ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे समाधान । सदा मन आमुचें ॥३॥
Literal translation
For-Hari-dāsas-sōpe-varma; all-dharma-at-feet. Deva on-lap, outside-on-shoulder; Vaiṣṇavas-crowd for-krīḍā. If-(one)-stays-(by)-this-āṭāāṭī, no-tūṭi-of-lābha. Tukā: sadā-samādhāna-mana-ours.

Stay steady in this simple effort and you will not lose what you have gained: your mind will rest in lasting peace.
