For someone today
Tukārām describes someone truly realized as a person who lives inside every creature — a master, not by ruling others, but by staying awake in that inner place every single moment, with firm faith planted at the feet of God. Such a person may put on a different face for the outside world, play a role, wear a mask suited to the moment, but the inner seed of who they are never shifts. What they truly hold onto, Tukārām says, is this secret: keep remembering, keep returning inward, and you keep your wealth. You do not have to be the same on the outside every day to stay whole on the inside.
