Abhanga 3582
The remedy for śrama (fatigue) is not more-effort but a-handing-over of sattā. The self stays kaṭakaṭa — leftover-clutter — but-without-authority and vegaḷā (apart) from the act.
The verse
श्रमपरिहारा । मूळ हें जालें दातारा ॥१॥
देह निवेदूनि पायीं । जालों रिकामा उतराईं ॥ध्रु.॥
आपली ते सत्ता । येथें असों नेदीं आतां ॥२॥
राहिला निराळा । तुका कटकटे वेगळा ॥३॥
Literal translation
Śramaparihārā — for śrama-removal; mūḷa he jāle dātārā — the root-cause has happened, O dātāra. Deha nivedūnī pāyīm — offering deha at feet; jālōm rikāmā utarāīm — I became rikāmā utarāī (empty-debt-paid). Āpalī te sattā — my own sattā; yethe asōm nedīm ātām — don't let it be here now. Rāhilā nirāḷā — stayed apart; Tukā kaṭakaṭe vegaḷā — Tukā the kaṭakaṭa, apart.
What it means
A 3-verse surrender-of-self-rule. The-root-of-śrama-removal-has-arrived; deha-offered-at-feet, I'm-empty-and-debt-paid; my-own-authority — I-don't-let-it-stay-here; I-remain-apart, Tukā-the-clutter-leftover, apart. Sattā (authority/own-rule) is the load: once it's-gone, only kaṭakaṭa (clutter-Tukā-residue) remains — and-that-too-apart.
