Literal translation
Ekā eka varme lāvūnīyām angīm — each varma attached one-by-one to body; ṭhevitōm prasangīm sāmbhāḷīna — in prasanga, I'll keep sāmbhāḷa. Neghāvā jīm tumhī vāva bahu phāra — don't take much vāva; dharūnī antara ṭhāyā-ṭhāva — holding antara-place. Vevahāre āle te samāne chi hōte — the vevahāra was already equal; baḷa nāhīm yethe chālōm yeta — no baḷa passes here. Tukā mhaṇe ātām nivāḍā cha sāṭīm — Tukā says: now for nivāḍā; samvasāre tuṭī karuni ṭhelōm — I've stayed breaking-with samvasāra.
What it means
A 3-verse bhakti-determination text by Tukārām.
The claim: Each-varma-(secret)-attached-to-your-body — I'll-keep-sāmbhāḷa in-each-prasanga. Don't-take-much-vāva (excuse), Deva — holding-your-innermost-place. The-vevahāra-was-already-equal; baḷa doesn't-pass-here. For-the-nivāḍa, I've-broken-with-samsāra.
For someone today
Tukārām's determination. Each secret-spot attached one-by-one to (your) body — in (each) occasion, I will keep guard. Don't take much excuse, Deva, far away — holding your innermost-place. The transaction that came was already equal; force doesn't pass here. Now, for the decision, I have stayed breaking-with the samsāra. The verse permits the bhakti-determination of-breaking-with-samsāra for-final-decision.
