Kām hō vāḍavitām Devā — why are you prolonging, Deva; maja gharī samajāvā — settle-(me) at home; kevaḍā hō gōvā — how-much this twisting; phāra kele thōḍyāñce — small (made) much.
The verse
कां हो वाडवितां देवा । मज घरी समजावा । केवडा हो गोवा । फार केलें थोडएाचें ॥१॥
ठेविन पायांवरी डोईं । यासी तुमचें वेचे काईं । जालों उतराईं । जाणा एकएकांचे ॥ध्रु.॥
निवाड आपणियांपाशीं । असोन कां व्हावें अपेसी । होती गांठी तैसी । सोडूनियां ठेविली ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे गोड । होतें जालिया निवाड । दर्शनें ही चाड । आवडी च वाढेल ॥३॥
Literal translation
Kām hō vāḍavitām Devā — why are you prolonging, Deva; maja gharī samajāvā — settle-(me) at home; kevaḍā hō gōvā — how-much this twisting; phāra kele thōḍyāñce — small (made) much. Ṭhevina pāyāmvarī ḍōī — (I) will place head on feet; yāsī tumache veche kāī — no cost to you; jālōm utarāī — we have become debt-free; jāṇā ekekāñche — recognize each (other). Nivāḍa āpaṇiyāmpāśīm — the nivāḍa is with yourself; asōna kām hvāve apesī — being so, why be humiliated; hōtī gāṇṭhī taisī — the knot that was; sōḍūnīyām ṭhevilī — loosened and left. Tukā mhaṇe gōḍa — Tukā says: (it is) sweet; hōte jāliyā nivāḍa — once nivāḍa happens; darśane hī chāḍa — the chāḍa of darśana; āvaḍī cha vāḍhela — fondness will only grow.

A plea-for-resolution. Tukārām asks: resolve-this-at-home; head-on-feet costs-you-nothing; we-are-debt-free; once-nivāḍa-happens, fondness-grows.
