Abhanga 3749
Ask that the eagerness your mind already gives to chasing gain be redirected toward remembering God, whose presence sustains life the way moisture sustains it.
The verse

Literal translation
Vāramvāra hā chi na paḍāvā visara — don't let this visara fall again-and-again; vasāve antara tumacyā guṇīm — let (you) dwell in antara by guṇa. Ichchheñcā ye dātā tūm eka samarthā — you alone are the dātā of ichchhā, samartha; agā krpāvamtā māyabāpā — O krpāvanta, māyabāpa. Lābhāñciye vōḍhī utāviḷe mana — mana utāviḷa for lābha's pull; tyāpari chintana charaṇāñce — similar (eagerness for) chintana of charaṇa. Tukā mhaṇe jīvī jīvana ōlāvā — Tukā says: in jīvī, you are the jīvana-ōlāvā; Pāṇḍurange dāvā śīghra ātām — Pāṇḍurange, show (yourself) quickly now.
What it means
A 3-verse petition: don't-let-forgetting-recur; let-mind-be-as-eager-for-chintana-as-for-gain; show-yourself-quickly.
For someone today
Tukaram prays that he will stop forgetting God again and again, and asks that God's qualities settle permanently in his heart instead. He calls God the one true giver of every real desire, the capable and merciful parent of all. He notices how eagerly the mind chases after profit and gain, and wishes he could bring that same eagerness to simply thinking of God's feet. He ends by calling God the moisture that keeps life alive, and begs Panduranga to reveal himself soon.
