Abhanga 3756
No one who turns sincerely to God leaves empty-handed, so there is no need to hurry, worry, or chase after reassurance, since God already knows and sees.
The verse
कोण येथें रिता गेला । जो जो आला या ठाया ॥१॥
तातडी ते काय आतां । ज्याची चिंता तयासी ॥ध्रु.॥
नांवासाटीं नेघें भार । न लगे फार वित्पित्त ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे न लगे जावें । कोठें देवें सुचनें ॥३॥
Literal translation
Kōṇa yethe ritā gelā — jō jō ālā yā ṭhāyā — who went empty — whoever came to this ṭhāya. Tātaḍī te kāya ātām — jyāñcī chintā tayāsī — what hurry now — chintā is his. Nāvāsāṭīm neghe bhāra — na lage phāra vitpita — for name's-sake, don't take bhāra — no much vitpita needed. Tukā mhaṇe na lage jāve — kōṭhe Deve suchane — Tukā says: no need to go — Deva sees/knows.

A short 3-verse confidence-text: no-one-from-this-place-went-empty; Lord-has-the-chintā; no-hurry, no-burden.
For someone today
Tukaram asks a simple question: who has ever come to this place of devotion and left empty-handed? No one, he says, so there is no reason to hurry or worry, because that worry rightly belongs to God, not to us. He refuses to carry the burden of protecting his own name or reputation, saying it is not worth much loss or trouble. There is no need to run anywhere else looking for help, because God already sees and knows.
