Tukārām's devotional-claim. (What) arose in (my) mind — this is the svāmī's doing. If the boon-gift comes — then I will see the wonder. If safety comes — then I will bow this command on my head. The purpose of bhakti — should be done by captive-singers. Glory is on the svāmī's head; servitude is to be done by the small-servant. To the pleading-one — a response should be arranged. The verse permits the bhakta-role-claim: yaśa-to-Lord, dāsya-to-bhakta.

What it means
A 5-verse devotional-claim text by Tukārām.
The claim: Whatever-arose-in-mind is-svāmī's-karaṇī. If-prasāda-comes I'll-see-kavutaka. If-abhaya-comes I'll-bow-the-ājñā. Bhakti's-purpose is-fulfilled-by-bandi-jana (captive-singers). Yaśa-on-svāmī's-head; dāsya-by-kinkara. To-the-pleading-one, an-uttara-should-be-arranged.
The role-division: glory-to-the-svāmī, servitude-by-the-servant — clear bhakta-Lord-relationship.
