Abhanga 3952

Tukārām's resolve: abandon-discrimination, hold-feet, sing-with-prema.

The verse

जाणों नेणों काय । चित्तीं धरूं तुझे पाय ॥१॥ आतां हें चि वर्म । गाऊं धरूनियां प्रेम ॥ध्रु.॥ कासया सांडूं मांडूं। भाव हृदयीं च कोंडूं ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे देवा । जन्मोजन्मीं मागें सेवा॥३॥

Literal translation

Jāṇōm neṇōm kāya — know-don't-know anything; chittīm dharūm tujhe pāya — in chitti hold your pāya. Ātām he chi varma — now this is the varma; gāūm dharūnīyām prema — sing holding prema. Kāsayā sāṇḍūm māṇḍūm — why discard or establish; bhāva hrdayīm cha kōṇḍūm — lock bhāva in hrdaya. Tukā mhaṇe Devā — Tukā says: Deva; janmōjanmīm māge sevā — in each janma ask sevā.
