Tukārām's surrender. Without you, nothing stays steady. (This) has come to be known in many ways, Pāṇḍurangā, in my mind. (I) have released the longing — with all (my) feeling, (I) have become (your) servant. You alone are real; the rest is a vain spread. The verse permits the canonical bhakti-surrender: only-Lord-real, rest-vain.
The verse
तुजविणं कांहीं । स्थिर राहे ऐसें नाहीं ॥१॥
कळों आलें बहुता रीती । पांडुरंगा माझ्या चित्तीं ॥ध्रु.॥
मोकलिली आस । सर्वभावें जालों दास ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे तूं चि खरा । येर वाउगा पसारा ॥३॥
Literal translation
Tujaviṇa kāmhī — without you, nothing; sthira rāhe aise nāhī — stays sthira this-way (or so). Kaḷōm āle bahutā rītī — it has come to be known by many ways; Pāṇḍurangā mājhyā chittīm — Pāṇḍurangā, in my chitti. Mōkalilī āsa — (I) have released (the) āśā; sarva-bhāve jālōm dāsa — with all bhāva, I have become dāsa. Tukā mhaṇe tūm chi kharā — Tukā says: you alone (are) kharā; yera vāugā pasārā — the rest (is) vāugā-pasārā.
