Abhanga 4415

Tukārām's purification-petition: clear-my-faults, dwell-inside.

When you feel weighed down by guilt and want it truly cleared away, not just managed
When anger or craving keeps overpowering you and you want something stronger to remove it
When you wonder whether your struggle is too small or too large for God to bother with

The verse

Literal translation

Clear pāpa-tāpa-my-guṇa-dōṣa; Krṣṇa-Viṣṇu-Hari-Nārāyaṇa. Throw kāma-krodha out — you stay inside, Pāṇḍurangā. If you do, what's not one thing? Created trailokya by heḷā-mātra. What can we teach the samartha? Tukā: come, Pāṇḍurangā.

What it means
