The abhang's compression is its gift. अवघ्या साधनांचें सार, न लगे फार शोधावें — सांडीं देह अभिमान. The essence of all spiritual practices is this: drop body-pride. The body-claim is the substrate of joy-and-anger; remove the substrate and they have nowhere to land. They don't disappear into emptiness; they finish in Pandurang — go upstream into the deity, where they came from. The post-arrival quality is bearing: what used to require effort to endure now bears itself, because the heart has come.

थोडें आहे थोडें आहे । चित्त साहे जालिया ॥१॥ हर्षामर्ष नाहीं अंगीं । पांडुरंगीं सरलें तें ॥ध्रु.॥ अवघ्या साधनांचें सार । न लगे फार शोधावें ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे लटिकें पाहें । सांडीं देह अभिमान ॥३॥
Literal translation
English: Only a little — only a little — the heart bears it once it has arrived. Joy and anger are no longer in the body; they have finished in Pandurang. The essence of all sadhanas — no need to search far. Tuka says: see it (= the body-claim) as false; drop body-pride.
मराठी: थोडंच आहे, थोडंच आहे; चित्त आल्यावर साहतं. हर्ष-अमर्ष अंगात नाही; पांडुरंगात ते सरलं. सगळ्या साधनांचं सार — फार शोधायला नको. तुकाराम म्हणतात — हे (देह-दावा) लटिकं पाहा; देह-अभिमान सांडा.
