Abhanga 128
This abhang is for the moment when something small now could resolve what large later will demand. The vesakara is at your door asking gently — relational repair, the apology, the small spiritual offering, the missed phone-call. The something is small; the nothing is the trap. Tomorrow the demand is officially set, and the cost shifts from small-voluntary to unbounded-pursuit.
The verse
Literal translation
English: Let some (morsel) come to the vesakara — from inside to outside, a measured-portion morsel. Whenever he comes — let his hand not be empty. Sometime, something must be given-and-taken. Tuka says: tomorrow I will set the (official) demand — those of you who (now) roam door-to-door (will pay).

What it means
Continuation of 0127. The vesakara now is at the door asking gently — give some morsel, the hand should not return empty. The structural claim is precise: today's softness is finite. The m̄anerā (official demand / formal claim) goes up tomorrow. The dichotomy: give-now-soft vs be-pursued-tomorrow-hard. The closing — जे दारोदारांभोंवतीं फिरा — those who (now / will) roam door-to-door — is the consequence of missing the soft window. [T]
