अंतरली कुटी मेटी — भय धरूनियां पोटीं — the kuṭī-meṭī was internalized — carrying fear in the belly. The bhakta is in fear-state; the kuṭī-meṭī (cottage-and-stake — perhaps the inner shelter-and-anchor) has been internalized — the safe-place is inside.

This abhang names the master-runs-without-laziness claim:

The master is impatient to come. Utāvaḷi yā vacanī. The standard-image of the deity as unmoved-mover is wrong in this register. The deity is impatient — at the call. As soon as the call falls on the ear, runs without laziness.

Lisping word pleases the master. Bobaḍyā uttarā svāmī mānavē. You do not need eloquent prayer. The imperfect-utterance — the lisp, the stammer, the inadequate-formulation — pleases the master. Don't withhold the call because the formulation is imperfect. The imperfection is what pleases.
