What it means
A the-jātī's-warrior-recognizes-the-warrior-respect-only-at-his-place-those-who-hold-weapons-for-stomach-are-truly-known-as-corvée-types-the-living-one's-blow-and-grit-is-true-what-hides-before-the-alien's-bond-we-bow-saying-Dēva-to-the-people-the-marks-of-those-who-have-become-we-know abhang. Jālīyāñcyā-khuṇā-jāṇatasōm register. The closing abhang of the paika-prakaraṇa, marked with ॥११॥ at the end (the eleventh of an eleven-poem sub-series). Four claims:
-
जाति-पाईक-ओळखे — आदर-ठायीं. Warrior-recognizes-warrior-claim. The jātī's pāīka recognizes (another) pāīka; ādara only at his ṭhāya*. (One warrior recognizes another only at his proper place — a kindred-respect.)
-
पोट-साटीं-हतियेरे — वेठीचीं. For-stomach-corvée-claim. Those who hold hatiyērē (weapons) for-*pōṭa; they are recognized as truly vēṭhī-cīmsīm (corvée-types — forced-laborers without conviction). (Mercenary-warriors are recognized as merely-corvée.)
-
जीता-घाय-डाय — पारखिया-पाशीं-लोपे. Living-one's-blow-grit-claim. The jītācē (live-one's) is the true *ghāya-ḍāya (blow-and-grit, scar-and-wound, the marks of having-fought-and-survived); what lōpē (hides) before the *pārakhiyā's (alien's) pāśīm (in-front-of, in-the-bond-of)? (The living warrior's scars cannot be hidden from the enemy.)
-
Tuka: Dēva-म्हुण-जन-नमूं — जालिया-खुणा. We-know-the-marks-of-those-who-have-become-claim. Tuka says: we namūm (bow to) Dēva, mhuṇa (calling-him) *jana; the jālīyāñcyā khuṇā (the marks-of-those-who-have-become) we jāṇatasōm. (We bow to Dēva as if to the people — because we know the marks-of-those-who-have-become. The closing claim of the paika-prakaraṇa: we recognize the genuine warriors of Hari by their marks.)

For someone today
This abhang names the jālīyāñcyā-khuṇā-jāṇatasōm register — the closing abhang of the paika-prakaraṇa:
-

For today: jāti-pāīka pāīka ōḷakhē, ādara ṭhāya; pōṭa-sāṭī hatiyērē, vēṭhī-cīmsīm kharē; jītācē ghāya-ḍāya kharē, pārakhiyā pāśīm lōpē-काय?; Dēva m'nu jana namūm, jālīyāñcyā khuṇā jāṇatasōm*.
This abhang is Tukaram's jālīyāñcyā-khuṇā-jāṇatasōm register — the closing of the paika-prakaraṇa. The jālīyāñcyā khuṇā (marks of those-who-have-become) are the signs by which the genuine warriors of Hari are recognized. The eleven-poem sub-series ends here, marked by ॥११॥. The jālīyāñcyā khuṇā jāṇatasōm (we know the marks of those-who-have-become) is the precise final-recognition claim.
