Chintāmaṇi-Devā Gaṇapatī-sī āṇā — (O) Chintāmaṇi-Deva, bring Gaṇapati; karavāve bhōjanā duje pātrī — make (him) take bhojana (eat) at the other pātra (eating-leaf, plate).

चिंतामणिदेवा गणपतीसी आणा । करवावें भोजना दुजे पात्रीं ॥१॥
देव म्हणती तुक्या एवढी कैची थोरी । अभिमानाभीतरी नागवलों ॥ध्रु.॥
वाडवेळ जाला सिळे जालें अन्न । तटस्थ ब्राम्हण बैसलेती ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे देवा तुमच्या सुकृतें । आणीन त्वरित मोरयासी ॥३॥
Literal translation
Chintāmaṇi-Devā Gaṇapatī-sī āṇā — (O) Chintāmaṇi-Deva, bring Gaṇapati; karavāve bhōjanā duje pātrī — make (him) take bhojana (eat) at the other pātra (eating-leaf, plate). Deva mhaṇatī Tukyā evaḍhī kaichī thōrī — Deva says: Tukyā (Tukārām), where (have you) such thōrī (greatness, capacity)?; abhimānā-bhītarī nāgavalōm — I have become nāgavalō (stripped-naked, exposed) within (the) abhimāna (pride). Vāḍa-veḷa jālā — a long veḷa (time) has passed; śiḷe jāle anna — the food has become śiḷe (stale, cold); taṭa-stha brāhmaṇa baisaletī — the brāhmaṇas are sitting taṭa-stha (waiting, stalled). Tukā says: Devā — (O) Deva; tumchyā sukrte āṇīna tvarita Mōrayā-sī — by your sukrta (merit, good-deeds), I will quickly bring Mōrayā (the Gaṇapati-name in Mōrayā Gosāvī's tradition).

Verse 2: Vāḍa-veḷa jālā śiḷe jāle anna — taṭa-stha brāhmaṇa baisaletī — a long time has passed — the food has gone cold — the brāhmaṇas are sitting waiting. The narrative-setting: a feast where food-has-gone-cold while-waiting; the brāhmaṇas are stalled.
