Literal translation
Kalyāṇa yā āśīrvāde — kalyāṇa by this āśīrvāda; jātī dvamdve nāsōnī — dvandvas go away nāsōnī. Āśvāsile Nārāyaṇe — Nārāyaṇa has reassured; premadāne amtarimñcyā — with prema-dāna from inward. Gelī nivārōnī ātām — now nivārōnī gone; sakaḷa chintā yāvari — all chintā on (us). Tukā mhaṇe gātām gīta — Tukā says: singing gīta; āle hita sāmōre — hita came face-to-face.
What it means
A short 3-verse confirmation-of-bhakti text by Tukārām.
The claim: Kalyāṇa-by-this-āśīrvāda; dvandvas-vanished. Nārāyaṇa-reassured with-prema-dāna from-inward. All-chintā-cleared. Singing-gīta — hita-came-face-to-face.
The image hita came-sāmōre (welfare came face-to-face) is striking — what-is-good-for-you came-to-meet-you through-the-singing-of-the-gīta.
For someone today
Tukārām's bhakti-confirmation. By this blessing (of) kalyāṇa — the opposites go away. Nārāyaṇa has reassured by the love-gift of (the) inward. All worry has now gone — cleared. By singing the song, welfare came face-to-face. The verse permits the bhakti-confirmation: singing-gīta brings-hita-face-to-face.
