Tukārām's radical-renunciation-bhakti — naked-in-bazaar, no-restraint with-Lord

The verse

Literal translation

Jālōm jīvāsī udāraI became udāra with jīva; tyāsī kāya bhīḍabhārawhat bhīḍa-bhāra with him. Karīna āḍakyā ghōngaḍeI'll make aḍakyā ghōngaḍa; ubhe bāzārīm ughaḍestanding naked in bazaar. Jōmjōm dharilī bhīḍathe more I held bhīḍa; tōmtōm bahu kelī chīḍathe more chīḍa it caused. Tukā mhaṇe mūḷaTukā says: mūḷa; tujhe uchchārīna kuḷaI'll utter your kuḷa.

What it means

Radical-renunciation. Once jīva is given away with udāra-generosity, no-restraint remains with the Lord. Standing-naked-in-the-bazaar; restraint only causes irritation; will-publicly-utter your-lineage.
