Hōte taise pāyīm kele nivedana — what was, I made nivedana at feet; antaralōm dina bahuta hōtōm — antaralōm many days.
The verse
होतें तैसें पायीं केलें निवेदन । अंतरलों दिन बहुत होतों ॥१॥
संबोखुनी केलें समाधान चित्त । वोगरुणि भात प्रेमरस ॥ध्रु.॥
नामरत्नमणी करूनी भूषण । अळंकारमंडण माळा दिली ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे सुखें जालों निरामय । नामीं नामसोय निमग्नता ॥३॥
Literal translation
Hōte taise pāyīm kele nivedana — what was, I made nivedana at feet; antaralōm dina bahuta hōtōm — antaralōm many days. Sambōkhunī kele samādhāna chitta — consoling, made chitta-samādhāna; vōgaruṇi bhāta prema-rasa — served bhāta of prema-rasa. Nāma-ratna-maṇī karūnī bhūṣaṇa — making Name-jewel into bhūṣaṇa; aḷankāra-maṇḍaṇa māḷā dilī — gave aḷankāra-māḷā. Tukā mhaṇe sukhe jālōm nirāmaya — Tukā says: in sukha I became nirāmaya; nāmīm nāma-sōya nimagnatā — in Name, Name-side-immersion.
What it means
Tukārām's reunion after long separation. The Lord consoles, serves prema-rasa-rice, adorns with Name-jewel-garland; immersion in the Name becomes the cure (nirāmaya).
For someone today
After long-separation, the Lord-consoles, serves-prema-rice, makes-Name-into-ornament — and the bhakta becomes immersed-in-Name-as-cure.
