Tukaram invites everyone to join him on pilgrimage to Alandi to see Jnanadev, promising that saying Jnaneshwar's name with sincerity breaks the cycle of rebirth.

चला आळंदीला जाऊं । ज्ञानदेवा डोळां पाहूं ॥१॥
होतिल संताचिया भेटी । सुखाचिया सांगों गोष्टी ॥ध्रु.॥
ज्ञानेश्वर ज्ञानेश्वर । मुखीं म्हणतां चुकती फेर ॥२॥
तुम्हां जन्म नाहीं एक । तुका म्हणे माझी भाक ॥३॥
Literal translation
Let's-go-Āḷamdī — see-Jñāna-dēva-eye. Santa-bhēṭi-happen — sukha-stories. Jñāneśvara-Jñāneśvara — saying-mouth-removes-phēra. Tukā: you-no-one-janma — my-bhāka.
What it means
MAJOR explicit chalā-āḷamdīlā-jāūm Jñāneśvara-lineage text. Come, let us go to Āḷamdī — let's see Jñāna-deva with eye. There'll be meetings with santas; let's tell joy-stories. Jñāneśvara, Jñāneśvara — saying (this) with mouth, the rebirth-cycle is broken. Tukā says: you won't have even one (more) janma — this is my oath (bhāka). The pilgrimage-invitation: let's-go-to-Āḷamdī (Jñāneśvara's samādhi-place) — see-him-with-eye — meet-santas — say-Jñāneśvara's-Name → rebirth-cycle-broken. The Tukā-bhāka (Tukā's-oath) is exceedingly strong: I-give-my-word-that-you-won't-be-born-again. Pair with 3066 (Tukā-praises-Jñāneśvara-māyabāpa).
