This abhang names the cosmic-domestic non-contradiction. If you have been demanding the deity / a real love / a real teacher be consistent — either cosmic-and-formidable or intimate-and-domestic — Tukaram says the demand is misplaced. The deity is both simultaneously, and the integrating image is the actor. The actor plays a role without being limited to it.
The verse
अनंत ब्रम्हांडे उदरीं । हरि हा बाळक नंदा घरीं ॥१॥ नवल केव्हडें केव्हडें । न कळे कान्होबाचें कोडें ॥ध्रु.॥ पृथ्वी जेणें तृप्त केली । त्यासि यशोदा भोजन घाली ॥२॥ विश्वव्यापक कमळापती । त्यासि गौळणी कडिये घेती ॥३॥ तुका म्हणे नटधारी । भोग भोगून ब्रम्हचारी ॥४॥
Literal translation
English: Infinite brahmandas in (his) belly — yet Hari is a child at Nanda's house. How astonishing! Kanhoba's riddle is not understood. The one by whom the earth is satisfied — Yashoda gives him food. The world-pervading lotus-spouse — the gopis take on the hip. Tuka says: the actor — having enjoyed the enjoyments, (yet) a brahmacāri.

What it means
A cosmic-paradox abhang of Krishna's child-form (bāla-rūpa). The verse is built on five overlapping paradoxes:
- अनंत ब्रम्हांडे उदरीं — हरि हा बाळक नंदा घरीं — infinite cosmoses in his belly, yet a child at Nanda's house. The cosmic-and-domestic coexist without resolution.
- पृथ्वी तृप्त — यशोदा भोजन घाली — the earth-satisfier gets fed by Yashoda. The supplier-of-all is being-supplied.
- विश्वव्यापक कमळापती — गौळणी कडिये घेती — the world-pervading Vishnu carried on a gopi's hip. The infinitely-large is small enough to be hipped.
- नटधारी — the actor. Krishna is wearing the child-costume deliberately; this is theatre, not limitation.
- भोग भोगून ब्रम्हचारी — enjoying the enjoyments yet a brahmacāri. The bhoga-experience does not deplete him; brahmacarya (the un-spent state) is preserved through the bhoga.
The structural claim: the deity does not choose between cosmic and intimate registers. Both are simultaneously real. The naṭa-dhārī (actor) image is the integrating idea — Krishna plays the child without being only a child. [T]

Three implications:
- The intimate-domestic moments are not lesser. Yashoda feeding Krishna is not less real than the cosmic-display.
- The cosmic moments are not the truth behind the mask. The mask itself is part of the truth. Naṭa-dhārī — the actor is the role-and-the-actor together.
- The bhoga-bhogūn-brahmacāri claim: enjoying does not deplete. This is rare and counter-intuitive. Most enjoyments deplete. Krishna's enjoyments do not. The bhakti-claim: participation-with-the-deity is bhoga without depletion.
For today: stop demanding the loved one (deity, person, practice) be consistent in register. Let them be cosmic when cosmic, domestic when domestic — and recognize naṭa-dhārī as the integrating identity.

तीन implications: 1. intimate-domestic moments लहान नाहीत. यशोदा कृष्णाला खाऊ घालणं cosmic-display पेक्षा कमी real नाही. 2. cosmic moments मुखवट्या मागचं सत्य नाहीत. मुखवटा स्वतः सत्याचा भाग. नट-धारी — actor भूमिका-आणि-कलाकार एकत्र*. 3. भोग-भोगून-ब्रम्हचारी — भोगाने deplete होणं नाही. दुर्मिळ आणि counter-intuitive. बहुतेक भोग deplete करतात. कृष्णाचे नाही. bhakti-दावा: देवासह participation — deplete-न-करणारा भोग*.
आज: प्रिय (देव, व्यक्ती, practice) register मध्ये सुसंगत असावा मागणी थांबवा. cosmic असेल cosmic, domestic असेल domestic — आणि नट-धारी integrating-identity म्हणून ओळखा.
