What it means
A Hari-name-as-khichaḍā abhang. Four claims:
-
आतां हें चि जेऊं हेंचि जेऊं — सवें घेऊं सिदोरी — now eat this, eat this — take with us the shidori. The immediate-invitation. Now-this is what is to be eaten. The current-moment-meal.
-
हरिनामाचा खिचडा केला — प्रेमें मोहिला साधनें — we made the Hari-name's khichaḍā — sādhana charmed by prema. The food-form: the Hari-name has been cooked into khichaḍā. Khichaḍā — the Marathi staple of rice and lentils mashed and cooked together — is substantial, easily-digested, household-food. The Hari-name as khichaḍā is substantial-everyday-food, not exotic-rare-food. And the cooking-agent: sādhana charmed by prema. The prema (love) charms the sādhana (practice) — and the charm-result is the khichaḍā. Practice-without-prema would not produce khichaḍā; prema-charmed-practice produces it.
-
चवीं चवीं घेऊं घास — ब्रम्हरस आवडी — take morsels with relish-relish — brahma-rasa favorite. Cavīm-cavīm — relish-after-relish, taste-after-taste. The eating-mode is slow, savoring, repeated-relish. And the flavor: brahma-rasa (the brahman-juice). Brahma is not abstract in this register; it is a flavor that tongues relish.
-
तुका म्हणे गोड लागे — तों तों मागे रसना — Tuka says: tastes sweet — more and more, the rasanā asks. The increasing-relish property. The more you take, the more the tongue asks. This is the opposite of normal-foods: normal-foods saturate; Hari-name-khichaḍā increases the asking. (Compare 191's navanīta-pūra here and 184's bhoga-bhogūn-brahmacāri.)

For someone today
This abhang names the food-property of the Hari-name:
-
Hari-name is khichaḍā, not exotic-cuisine. Practice cooks the name into household-food. Don't look for rare-and-exotic spiritual-food; the khichaḍā-form — substantial-everyday — is what the practice produces.
-
Prema is the cooking-charm*. Premē mōhilā sādhanē. Practice without prema does not become khichaḍā — it remains raw ingredients. The cooking-agent is prema. If your practice has not yet become khichaḍā, check whether prema is in the cooking*.
-
Relish-relish, slow morsels. Cavīm-cavīm ghēūm ghāsa. The eating-mode is slow, savoring, repeated-tasting. Don't gulp the practice; take it morsel-by-morsel with relish.
-
The more you take, the more the tongue asks. Tōm tōm māgē rasanā. The increasing-relish property is unique to this food. Normal-foods saturate; Hari-name-khichaḍā increases the asking. If your practice saturates and you want to stop, the prema-charm has fallen out.
For today: cook the Hari-name into khichaḍā with prema-charm; take cavīm-cavīm morsels; trust that the more you take, the more the tongue asks. Don't mistake the household-form for low-spiritual-value; the khichaḍā is the brahma-rasa.
-
Prema cooking-charm*. Practice without prema खिचडा होत नाही — raw ingredients राहतं. Cooking-agent prema.
-
Relish-relish, slow morsels. Eating-mode slow, savoring, repeated-tasting.
