What it means
A tri-vācā patita-petition abhang. Tri-vācā patita — thrice-spoken / fallen-by-three-categories: probably fallen by kāya-vācā-mana (body-speech-mind); or fallen-thrice-emphatic (the Sanskrit triḥ-uktam triple-emphasis). Three claims:
-
पतित पतित — परी मी त्रिवाचा पतित — patita, patita — but I am tri-vācā patita. The opening-self-claim: (others may be) patita (fallen, sinful) — patita (repeated) — but I am tri-vācā patita (thrice-fallen / fallen-by-all-three-vācas, body-speech-mind). Self-claim of triple-fallenness*.
-
परी तूं आपुलिया सत्ता — मज करावें सरता — but You by Your sattā make me sarata. The deva's-power claim: but You — by Your own sattā (sovereign-power) — make me sarata (effective / acceptable / allowed). Deva's-power-makes-the-fallen-acceptable.
-
नाहीं चित्तशुद्धि — स्थिर पायांपाशीं बुद्धि — no citta-śuddhi — buddhi sthira at feet. The minimum-petition: I have no citta-śuddhi (purity-of-mind); (but) let my buddhi (intellect) be sthira (fixed) at Your feet. Even without citta-śuddhi, buddhi-at-feet is asked.
-
अपराधाचा केलों — तुका म्हणे किती बोलों — aparādhi I've become — Tuka says: how much shall I speak. The closing-exhaustion: I have become an aparādhi (offender); Tuka says: how much shall I speak? Words of confession run out; the deva must take over.

For someone today
This abhang names the tri-vācā-patita-deva-power-makes-sarata register:
-
Acknowledge tri-vācā fallenness. Tri-vācā patita. Don't minimize fallenness; recognize it as triple — body-speech-mind. Honest-self-recognition.
-
Only the deva's sattā can make you sarata*. Tujhī sattā — sarata. Self-effort doesn't make a tri-vācā-patita acceptable; only the deva's-sovereign-power does. Anti-self-correction-as-sufficient*.
-
Even without citta-śuddhi, ask for buddhi-at-feet*. Citta-śuddhi nahīm — buddhi-sthira-pāyām-pāśīm. Don't wait for purity; ask for the lower-minimum: just buddhi fixed at Your feet*.
-
Words of confession run out; the deva takes over. Kitī bōlō. At some point, confession-of-aparādha exhausts; let the deva take over.
For today: acknowledge tri-vācā-fallenness honestly; only the deva's-sattā makes you sarata; minimum-petition: buddhi at feet, even without citta-śuddhi; let confession exhaust into deva-care.

-
फक्त देवाची sattā तुम्हाला sarata* करू शकते. तुझी सत्ता — सरता. Self-effort tri-vācā-patita ला acceptable करत नाही; फक्त देवाची-sovereign-power. Anti-self-correction-as-sufficient*.
-
-
Confession चे words exhaust; देव takes over. किती बोलो. कधी ना कधी aparādha ची confession exhaust होते; let the देव take over.
