English: What parva-kāḷa-tīrtha will You wait for? — citta is kāsāvīsa. Send bhātukēm — prērī jhaḍakarī — don't keep urī, Pāṇḍuranga. Don't hold kōpa on me — saying avaguṇī, anyāyī. Why make unknowing children cry? — knowing thōrā same way. Why standing — hand on kaṭi? — soothe small laḍivāḷa. Tuka says: now I'll pull the padara — won't be nirāḷā then.

This abhang is Tukaram's Viṭṭhalē-mother-tug-the-padara register — the padara-piḷā image is rare and intimately-physical. Compare 0527 Viṭṭhalē-jananī-laḷē; same childish-tantrum register but here with the precise padara-pulling image. The kaṭi-on-the-hand re-read as negligence is striking: the iconic-Pandharī-pose becomes a mother-not-picking-up-the-child.
