When gratitude is real, you run out of words and things to offer, and even what you might give was never fully yours to begin with, so all that is left is to admit the debt cannot be repaid.
The verse
वणूप महिमा ऐसी नाहीं मज वाचा । न बोलवे साचा पार तुझा ॥१॥ ठायींची हे काया ठेविली चरणीं । आतां ओवाळुनि काय सांडूं ॥ध्रु.॥ नाहीं भाव ऐसा करूं तुझी सेवा । जीव वाहूं देवा तो ही तुझा ॥२॥ मज माझें कांहीं न दिसे पाहातां । जें तुज अनंता समर्पावें ॥३॥ तुका म्हणे आतां नाहीं मज थार । तुझे उपकार फेडावया ॥४॥

For someone today
Tukaram admits he simply has no words big enough to praise God's greatness, and that failure of language is itself honest. He says he already placed his whole body at God's feet, so there is nothing left over to offer as a gesture, and even the life or spirit he might still want to give is already God's to begin with. Looking closely at himself he finds nothing that is truly his own to hand over, and he ends by saying he has no ground left to stand on to repay all that has been given to him. Sometimes the most sincere devotion is admitting you cannot pay the debt, and offering that honest helplessness instead.
