Paying slow, loving attention to every detail of what you cherish is itself an act of devotion, and real admiration turns outward into blessing rather than envy.

For someone today
Tukaram's brother describes standing at the river and simply drinking in every detail of what he loves: the ornaments, the fabric that outshines the sun, the sway of the earrings, the flash in the eyes, because looking closely, with real attention, is itself an act of devotion. Overflowing admiration for someone doesn't need to turn into envy or self-comparison; here it turns outward into a blessing on the very parents who brought this beauty into the world. This is a reminder that when you truly love something, you can let yourself notice it fully, in detail, without hurrying past it.
