Sound the trumpet and celebrate without fear, because God walks ahead of you, leading rather than pushing from behind.
The verse
लावुनि काहाळा । सुखें करितों सोहोळा ॥१॥ सादवीत गेलों जना । भय नाहीं सत्य जाणां ॥ध्रु.॥ गात नाचत विनोदें । टाळघागर्यांच्या छंदें ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे भेव । नाहीं पुढें येतो देव ॥३॥
Literal translation
Sounding kāhāḷā — sukha — sōhōḷā. Sādavīta — to jana — no bhaya — satya jāṇā. Singing-dancing vinōdē — tāḷa-ghāgarī chanda. Tuka says: bhēva — no — deva — ahead — comes.
