The compassionate one carries the load of the humble, guides them by the hand, and asks only single-minded devotion in return.

कृपावंत किती । दीनें बहु आवडती ॥१॥ त्यांचा भार वाहे माथां । करी योगक्षेमचिंता ॥ध्रु.॥ भुलें नेदी वाट । करीं धरूनि दावी नीट ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे जीवें । अनुसरतां एका भावें ॥३॥
Literal translation
Kṛpāvanta — how much — dīnas — bahu — loved. Bhāra — māthā — carries — yōga-kṣēma-cintā — does. Bhulē-nēdī — vāṭa — by hand holding — dāvī nīṭa. Tuka says: jīva — anusaratām — ēkā bhāvē.

For someone today
How compassionate is God? He loves the humble and helpless deeply, carrying their burden on His own head and taking on the worry of providing for them and keeping them safe. He does not let anyone lose their way on the path; He holds their hand and shows them the straight direction. Tukaram says the only condition is this: follow with a single, undivided heart.
