आधीं-आळशी — वरी-गुरू-उपदेश — कैंची-आडकाठी — vidhi-niṣēdha-भेटी? Already-lazy-with-guru-no-fence-claim. Already (one is) lazy; and on-top, (he gets) the gurū-upadēśa (the guru's teaching, often the advaitic aham-Brahma or no-vidhi-niṣēdha doctrine); then for him, where is the āḍa-kāṭhī (the fence, the boundary-stake)? — the encounter (bhēṭī) of vidhi-niṣēdha?. Already-lazy-now-the-guru's-teaching-removes-the-vidhi-fence. (Tuka warns: when the lazy-person hears no-vidhi-niṣēdha, he uses-it-as-license.)

This abhang is Tukaram's anti-lazy-bhakta-misuse-of-guru-upadeśa register — one of the sharpest anti-misuse warnings. Compare 0731 advaita-vāṇī-rejected-aham-Brahma-bhrama (Tuka's mudra); same anti-advaita but here organized through misuse-of-guru-teaching-by-the-already-lazy. The gāḍhava ghētī manā-savē dhāva (gāḍhava runs after mind) is one of Tukaram's most-direct judgments on bhakti-misusers*.
