When you feel overwhelmed by the ocean of daily struggles, you don't have to find safety entirely on your own. Tukaram says that simply holding the divine feet in his heart is the boat that carries him across, and no other happiness compares to it. All his personal marks and ambitions dissolved into that deep contentment, the way something sinks and disappears in a pool of nectar. In the end, Tukaram says he has finally grasped the vital secret, and now holds it firmly, well in hand.
The verse
भवसिंधूचें हें तारूं । मज विचारूं पाहातां ॥१॥ चित्तीं तुझे धरिन पाय । सुख काय तें तेथें ॥ध्रु.॥ माझ्या खुणा मनापाशीं । तें या रसीं बुडालें ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे वर्म आलें । हातां भलें हें माझ्या ॥३॥
Literal translation
Bhava-sindhu — tārūm — vicārūm. Citta — pāya — sukha. Khuṇā — manā — rasī — buḍālē. Tuka says: varma — hātā — bhalē.

मराठी: रोजच्या जगण्याच्या भवसागरात जेव्हा तुम्हाला भारावल्यासारखं वाटतं, तेव्हा एकट्यानंच सुरक्षितता शोधावी लागत नाही. तुकाराम म्हणतात, फक्त देवाचे पाय मनात धरणं हेच तारणारं तारूं आहे, आणि त्याच्यासारखं दुसरं सुख नाही. त्यांच्या स्वतःच्या सगळ्या खुणा आणि मनीच्या इच्छा त्या खोल समाधानात विरघळून गेल्या, जसं काही अमृताच्या तळ्यात बुडून नाहीसं व्हावं. शेवटी तुकाराम म्हणतात, त्यांना अखेर ते वर्म गवसलं आहे, आणि आता ते त्यांच्या हातात पक्कं आलं आहे.
