Since you came from the same source as the divine, separation is not real, and faithfully surrendering your own will until it dissolves into obedience brings you close to that source.

तुज च पासाव जालोंसों निर्माण । असावें तें भिन्न कासयानें ॥१॥ पाहावा जी ठायीं करूनि विचार । नुन्य कोठें फार असे चि ना ॥ध्रु.॥ ठेविलिये ठायीं आज्ञेचें पाळण । करूनि जतन राहिलोंसें ॥२॥ तुका म्हणें आतां बोलतसें स्पष्ट । जालों क्रियानष्ट तुम्हाऐसा ॥३॥
Literal translation
Pāsāva — nirmāṇa — bhinna — by-what. Ṭhāyī — vicāra — nuna-phāra — none. Ājñā — pāḷaṇa — jatana. Tuka says: spaṣṭa — kriyā-naṣṭa — like-You.

A I-came-into-being-from-You-how-bhinna-no-lack-no-excess-observing-command-careful-now-speak-openly-action-cancelled-like-You abhang. Kriyā-naṣṭa-like-You register. Three claims:

Tuka: स्पष्ट — क्रिया-नष्ट-तुम्हा-ऐसा. Action-cancelled-like-You-claim. Tuka says: nowspaṣṭa; kriyā-naṣṭa — like-You.I-have-cancelled-action-just-as-You-do-not-act(=Brahman-as-actionless; the bhakta now has-become-actionless).

For someone today
Tukaram asks a simple question: since I came into being out of You, how could I possibly be separate from You? He looks honestly at himself and finds neither lack nor excess, nothing missing and nothing extra, just what was meant to be there. He says he has carefully kept to the place and duty he was given, obeying without straying. And now he speaks plainly: he has let go of acting on his own will so completely that he has become as free of self-driven action as God is, his doing has dissolved into simply following.
मराठी: तुकाराम एक साधा प्रश्न विचारतात, मी तुझ्यापासूनच निर्माण झालो, मग तुझ्यापासून वेगळा कसा असू शकतो? स्वतःकडे प्रामाणिकपणे पाहिल्यावर त्यांना ना उणीव दिसते ना जास्तीचं काही, जे असायला हवं तेच आहे. आपल्याला दिलेली जागा आणि आज्ञा त्यांनी जपून, न ढळता पाळली आहे. आणि आता ते स्पष्ट सांगतात, स्वतःच्या इच्छेने काही करणं त्यांनी इतकं सोडून दिलं आहे की त्यांची स्वतंत्र कृतीच उरलेली नाही, ती फक्त आज्ञापालनात विरघळून गेली आहे.
