You are the one who tangled us up in this bond, he says, so you don't get to quietly slip away now. You gave us the awareness to notice, so don't pretend this can be smoothed over with excuses. You chose to take on a name and a form that people could know and love, and that choice comes with a responsibility, so passing the buck will not work anymore.

तुमचा तुम्हीं केला गोवा । आतां चुकवितां देवा ॥१॥ कैसें सरे चाळवणें । केलें काशाला शाहाणें ॥ध्रु.॥ कासया रूपा । नांवा आलेति गा बापा ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे आतां । न सरे हवाले घालितां ॥३॥

Gōvā — Yours. Now — evade — Dēva. Cāḷavaṇē — śahāṇē. Rūpa-nāma — bāpā. Tuka says: havālē ghālitām — won't-work.
