Abhanga 1093
Tukaram says that simply saying the name Rama makes you become Rama, the way sitting in a seat lets you take on its rank. He insists this happiness is not just a claim in words, you can put it to the test yourself and trust your own experience. Once you have tasted the flavor of Rama, he says, no other pleasure can taste as satisfying again. He closes by saying he is not repeating something he heard, he is telling us what he has tasted and felt in his own body.
