Word-by-word gloss
| Marathi/Hindi | Meaning |
|---|---|
| सुरा सो हि लरे हमसें | "surā sō hi larē hamasēm" |
| छोरे तनकी आस | "chōrē tana-kī āsa" |
What it means
Sākhyā 28 of 30 — surā-warrior register. Only the surā (warrior) fights with us (the bhaktas) — one who has released body-attachment (tana-kī āsa). The bhakti-paika theme returns: spiritual battle requires tana-detachment; whoever still clings to the body cannot fight on Hari's side.
