नव्हे खळवादी मता च पुरता । सत्याची हे सत्ता उपदेश ॥१॥ साक्षत्वेंसी मना आणावीं उत्तरें । परिपाकीं खरें खोटें कळे ॥ध्रु.॥ नव्हे एकदेशी शब्द हा उखता । ब्रम्हांडापुरता घेईल त्यासी ॥२॥ तुका विनवणी करी जाणतियां । बहुमतें वांयां श्रमों नये ॥३॥
Literal translation
English: I am not a khaḷa-vādī, for the sake of mata alone — satya's sattā is the upadeśa. With sākṣitva, bring the uttarā to manā — at paripāka, kharēm-khōṭēm is known. This śabda is not ēka-dēśī, ukhatā — brahmāṇḍa-encompassing it will take that one. Tuka makes vinavaṇī to jāṇatīs — by bahu-mata, don't toil in vāyām.

What it means
Not-quarrelsome-arguer-satya-is-instruction abhang. A direct-continuation of 1456's anti-multi-opinion polemic, but here Tuka clarifies his own stance. The opening: navhē khaḷa-vādī mata cā puratā — satyācī hē sattā upadēśa — I am not — a khaḷa-vādī (= argumentative-wrangler) — for the sake of mata (opinion); — satya's sattā (authority) — is the upadēśa. Tuka denies he is a *mata-defender; — his authority is not opinion-driven. Satya itself has sattā (authority); — that is the upadēśa. (Distinguishes Tuka's polemic from the opinion-quarrels he attacks.)
The verification-method: sākṣatvēmsī manā āṇāvīm uttarē — paripākīm kharēm khōṭēm kaḷē — with sākṣitva (witnessing-state) — bring the uttarā (answer) to the manā; — at paripāka (= ripening / final-consummation) — kharēm-khōṭēm (true-and-false) — is known.
