Abhanga 1504
Even the desire to seek God is God's own gift, and its fruit ripens through heartfelt devotion in its own time, never by force or haste.

Literal translation
Satya-samkalpa's dātā is Nārāyaṇa — fulfills all manōratha. Here aḷankāra-s shine entire — by bhāva-baḷa, fruit of icchā. Knows the kaḷavaḷā of the antara-bīja — pervading entire Brahmāṇḍa. Tuka says: tāntaḍī doesn't work — without prāpta-kāḷa-ghaḍī coming.

What it means
Hari-fulfills-by-bhāva-strength-but-not-by-haste abhang. The opening: satya-samkalpācā dātā Nārāyaṇa — sarva karī pūrṇa manōratha — thedātāofsatya-samkalpa— isNārāyaṇa; — fulfills — all —manōratha. Hari himself is the giver oftrue-resolve; fulfills all heart-desires. (= even the will-to-bhakti is Hari-given; cf. Bhagavad-Gītā 7.21: yo yo yām yām tanum bhaktaḥ śraddhayā arcitum icchati...)
The fulfillment-mechanism: yēthēm aḷankāra śōbhatī sakaḷa — bhāva-baḷē phaḷa icchēcēntē — here —aḷankāras shine entire; — bybhāva-baḷa—fruitoficchā. Here (= in the bhakti-domain), all ornaments shine; — the wish-fruit comes by bhāva-strength. (Note: distinct from 1490's aḷankāra-spoils-gold — there aḷankāra was negative; here it's the bhakti-decoration of the inner-state.)
The interior-knowledge: antarīñcēm bīja jāṇē kaḷavaḷā — vyāpaka sakaḷām Brahmāṇḍācā — thebīja(seed) of theantara—knowsthekaḷavaḷā(= fervor / inner-yearning); —pervadingthe entireBrahmāṇḍa. Hari knows the interior-yearning seed, even pervading the entire Brahmāṇḍa. (= no-need-to-explain-to-him; he reads the heart.)
The closing-counsel: nāhīm cālata tāntaḍī — prāpta-kāḷa-ghaḍī ālyā-vīṇa — haste — doesn't work (cālata); — without theprāpta-kāḷa-ghaḍī(= moment-of-attainment) —coming. Bhakti has its own clock; haste doesn't work. The right moment must arrive. (Compare 1462's kāḷa-sattā-ghaṭikā-na-Paṇḍharī-nāyakā-āṭhavitām — different theme, same kāḷa-ghaṭikā-vocabulary.)

For someone today
For today: Hari is the giver of true-resolve and fulfills all heart-desires; here the ornaments shine — the wish-fruit comes by bhāva-strength; he knows your interior-yearning, pervading the cosmos; haste doesn't work — the right moment must arrive.
Where this applies
- When you feel a sudden longing for something meaningful and wonder where that longing even came from
- When you are trying to will a heartfelt wish into being through sheer effort instead of sincere feeling
- When you feel like no one understands what you are quietly hoping for or struggling with inside
- When you are impatient for an outcome and keep pushing for it before its time has come
